Hi,
here is the new version 0.03 of Starlite
featuring:

• starlite now uses 3d sprites, which allows to display 1024 of them total
• the wifi tacked on mode is now functional. This means that you can play with 2 DS in the same room, one against the other

Here is the how-to with the new version:

• copy the file starlite.nds into the 2 DS (so far, everything is normal)
• on the Ds #1, copy into the root of your memory card the file “equipe.txt”, filled with the lone character “1” (without enters, nor spaces)
• on the DS #2, copy that same file, again in the root, but containing the lone character “2” this file will allow to let the DS know that you are respectively player 1 or player 2!
• run Starlite and wait until the 2 players are ran on the 2 DS’es. You can now begin to play

Why this very file “equip”? In fact, we don’t have time to create a menu so that we can select a color and a team number. Moreover,, this menu would have allowed to synchronize the starting up, which is not appropriate here.

But nevertheless, this will be available in a future version.

To conclude, you will be able to see for yourself that this is really the beginning of a wifi mode, but it still works! (it still crashes but we’re working on it)

Known Bugs:
